The vacation ballot has been updated to reflect next year’s vacation weeks.
The lottery numbers are included in the rules and with the memo sent to you. The order or groups this year is B, C, D, A. The new people start in the middle at the top of the third group. We did something different this year. The ABCD groups have rotated turns as always however the order within each group has been randomized so people are not always at the beginning, middle or end of their group. In most cases this doesn’t make a significant difference however those at the beginning and end will no longer end up always first and last. People in the 2nd and 3rd groups will also not always be dead in the middle or furthest from the beginning or end in odd and even rounds.
The rules are the same and are provided under documents. All full time part time and contract doctors participate in the lottery. The full time and contract doctors are bidding on weeks labelled g or g/pt. in the vacation table. The part time doctors are bidding on weeks labelled pt or g/pt. The column with weeks labelled g/pt will fill towards the end of the lottery and as you might assume are available to whomever fills it first.
